3. Give VALUBLE information about your industry.
Think about when you were training to be in the industry you are in. What did you learn? Talk about it.
4. Share that information on Twitter, and Facebook.
5. Don’t waste your time by reading. DO IT!
I enrolled a gentleman into my business last week. I called a few times so I could give him some personal training as I always do and he didn’t answer. I was a little shocked because he had a strong “WHY” and was really passionate about it.
So I gave him the benefit of the doubt and called a few more times, until finally I left him a message saying I had noting against him, hope I didn’t offend you in any way. I also said out of respect, Man to Man, I would like a call back even if its to say you’re quiting on all your dreams.
He called back almost right away. We talked for a few minutes. The topic was about his wife and father. Both had told him that home-businesses are all scams and none work. He went on to say “No one ever makes money in these programs.” It was clear to me a “Dream Stealer” got to him.
He is not the 1st one to have this happen, and he won’t be the last. This has happened to me several times. As a matter of fact, I had a Dream Stealer confront me just the other day. My father told me “the computer is poison.” So it happens to me, to you, to everyone! We have a choice, to let them take our dream or smile and walk away.
You see, my dream is soo BIG that no matter what anyone says or does to me, it has little or no effect on me. You might have remembered the saying when you were a little kid: “I’m rubber, you’re glue, what ever you say bounces off me and sticks to you.”
When I told him that, he laughed a little and said I get your point. It’s not that our families are trying to hurt us or tell us we can’t do anything, they just suffer from possibility blindness. So together we must prove them wrong. Here are a few tips to help you get closer to your dreams:
1. Write your Dream down (Clearly i.e. I will buy a Red Cadilac XLR with 22” rims next year on or before Feb 1st 2010)
2. Write down you reason for wanting your dream or goal
3. Do something daily to get closer to your goal.
4. Read it 10 times every single day! <— most important part
To Your Success!

It’s so sad that so many networkers “Go out of business” every year. Its so said the we say that summer time is Not network season. I understand the facts, more people join homebase businesses during the winter. My question is, What make you think they don’t join during the summer?
As you may know I’m married and have 5 kids. I live a very busy life style. My day starts very early in the morning and ends at like midnight or 1am almost everyday. On the weekends I don’t go to bed until 2:30am – 3. If I were a lazy networker I have plenty of reason to “close my doors” during the summer time. Don’t worry I wont and I don not want you to either.
We are both in this business to do 2 things. #1 help as many people as we possible can to make their dreams a reality. By doing #1, we can get number 2 witch is achieve our dreams and goals. It does have to be done in that order. If we take time off number 1 we are not going to receive number 2.
With over 7,000 new quality business partners joining my business within the last 45 days, it shows people are making moves. With the econmy the way it is people are realising they can not rely on the government or a JOB to bail them out. People are looking and open to learning more about you and your business. Right now is the best time to build a business. So stop using the excuses: My kids are out of school, kids are back in school, everyone goes on vacation during summer, its too hot outside, blah blah blah.
I you want to become successful in the home base business arena you need to work at it. Its funny because a friend came up to me and said “Eddie, those home base businesses are to hard to build.” And I said, “Your right”. They are hard to build. But to me so is waking up at 6 or 7am everyday heading to a job, dealing with a boss for 8 hours then driving back in traffic only to look forward to doing it again. That’s hard to me. So if I knew that no matter what one I picked it was going to be hard, I would pick the one with the best reward.
So put your OPEN sign on and get to work. Not later NOW! You can do it. Nothing can stop you but YOU. So get out of your way and change someones life. I dare you!

I just finished the day by talking to a few of my networking friends. Im sitting in my back yard as the kids are playing basketball enjoying another wonderful day. And as we were talking my good friend asked me a question, he said “Eddie, why is it that we got to where we are and others spend their whole life and never make it?” It was a great question. Because of that question I want to make sure that anyone that reads this will get the secret to success. Yes, it is a secret so don’t go off telling everyone. As a matter of fact if you tell others what the secret is they are going to laugh at you.
Before I tell you the secret I will give you a quick warning. Over 75% of the people reading this already know the secret, 98% of you will never implement this secret. That is why the top money earners of the world only 2% strong. And yet 2% of the people make 98% of the money. Crazy HUH. What are you going to do about, keep enjoying 2%??
OK… Here it is.. I hope your ready.. Are you ready??? Are you sure your ready??? I sure do hope so. The biggest secret: Believe! Some may be saying, That’s it? And If I were next to you I would say THAT’S IT? What do you mean THAT’s IT? That’s everything.
If you can’t see yourself making the kind of money you want, driving the car you want, living in your dream home, then guess what. YOU WONT. If all you do is wonder how your going to pay your next bill or budget til next payday then get used to it. Sorry to be blunt, but its true.
In closing I want to say a couple things. 1. quick plug for my Training calls starting on July 5th. More details to come. 2. Make sure you get my updates for all new anouncements and training. And last LIVE YOUR DREAM. Trust me you can do anything you believe you can. TRY IT and prove me wrong, I dare you!

If you’re in any type of sales you had to have heard the saying before “The fortune is in the follow up.” So the big question is; is the fortune really in the follow up?
When you’re talking to a prospective customer (Lead or up), there obviously interested in your product or service. Otherwise you would not be talking to them. Something you said or did make them interested in what you do. And what you did worked, that’s why they found you. So what do you do?
You give them some information about what it is that you have or do, then what happens next? Some buy. Always a low percentage. Most take the information you gave them, and make a decision at a later time. Think about the business your in. Did you buy into it the very 1st time you looked into it? If you’re like most people, you probably looked into it for a couple days, did you researched, talk to your spouse, and then you bought it.
So what happens during that “decision making” time? Life happens to people. We have to remember that even though they didn’t buy at 1st look, they had a reason to look at what you have. They were, and chances are they still are interested. So is the follow up important?
Absolutely YES! So if it’s so important, why don’t most people do it? Its simple. They think it’s too hard or takes to much time. Well the bottom line to that is they don’t know how to do it right. Most people are lucky (like me) to know how to properly follow up and have a system in place to help them do so. Here are a few steps to help you along with your follow up.
Keep track of your customers.
If you have no record of you customers (i.e. name, number, email), you can ever follow up with them. I use Aweber for my follow up. You can take a free test drive to start.
Always contact your list. If you are using Aweber this step is easy to do. Just simply send them a quick email.
CALL them.
You should call them the same day. Yes I said the same day. Its simple all you have to say is “Hi John Doe. Its Eddie with XYZ Company, and I just wanted to say Thanks for coming in today. I hope the information I provided you with was helpful and I want you to know that I’m always available if you have more questions. Do me a favor, grab a pin I want to give you my number again just in case.”
Wait a day or so then call again. You must be persistent. Don’t feel like your bugging then. Remember they came to you 1st.
Hopefully you already gave them your number the 1st time around but let’s be honest people lose numbers all the time. One of my favorite things to say is “Hey do me a favor and grab a pin” Now they think you are going to give them something valuable. And you are. It’s you number. If they say “You already gave it to me” or “I already have your number” You say “Great right it own Just in case, Its (123)456-7890” At the end of the sentence they don’t think twice about grabbing a pen and writing it down again. Now they will have your number in 2 places.
Call again.
You must be persistent. If your not I will be. And I’ll win; so how bad do you want it? Oh I said this already, maybe because it’s important!
Well there’s more but that’s a start for now. Look forward to more tips to come…

In a repressed economy relationships can make or break your business. Word of mouth is the best free publicity you can get, and you want it to be good. During difficult times people want to know that they have someone to help them, support them, and understand them. They don’t just want to be sold on the product or service; they want to be sold on YOU. So what makes you special?
1. Respect. Respect is the foundation of any relationship. Your customer needs to know that you value them and their needs.
2. Listen. Listen to their needs, and be sure you understand them. Repeat it back. Take notes.
3. Personality. Don’t copy the car salesman. Be original, be yourself.
4. Trust. If the customer knows you respect them, and knows you are being yourself, they start believing they can trust you. It is very important to establish this as quickly as possible!
5. Honesty. Don’t promise anything you can’t deliver. Be very clear about what can or cannot be done.
6. Follow Up. Be sure to follow up. Send an email, a handwritten card, or a phone call. Make sure they know they are remembered.
7. Go the extra mile. Offer simple assistance and tips for free. If you know they can get a better deal elsewhere, let them know. Believe it or not that just may get you the sale!
Become a person that people want to work with, not just another product or service. If they know you are there to take care of them they will keep coming back, and bring their friends with them. You’ll get great, loyal customers without spending a dime.
